Cohera is preparing to enter clinical trials with its lead product TissuGlu® starting with a target application in plastic surgery. The company intends to achieve the following product development milestones in 2008:

  • Conduct chemical characterization studies and biocompatibility testing to establish product safety,
  • Perform pre-clinical tests that will result in efficacy data for the targeted clinical application, and
  • Establish manufacturing and sterilization protocols for implementation at a GMP facility.
