Our Technology
Cohera Medical has entered the European market with its first product offering, TissuGlu® Surgical Adhesive,* which Cohera’s researchers designed to help plastic and aesthetic surgeons reduce the need for surgical drains in abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and other plastic surgery procedures. TissuGlu Surgical Adhesive is resorbable, biocompatible for internal use, uses no human or animal based ingredients and forms a strong bond between tissues.
Our Future
Cohera Medical’s scientific leaders continue to explore new clinical applications for the company’s patented technologies, including new surgical adhesives and sealants that target other medical applications, including their latest innovation, Sylys™ Surgical Sealant† for sealing bowel anastomoses, and a new product for hernia mesh fixation.
